Summary/Abstract: The study aims at analysing the last decade's changes regarding demographic ageing at the level of regions and the residential environment in Romania. The demographic data we worked on in the study are those from the national statistical database, Tempo-online. Births, deaths and migration generally influence the dynamics of demographic ageing. However, a more critical role at the regional level, compared to the one identified at the international level, is played by migration, a result deduced based on linear regression equations.
