Artificial intelligence in a social perspective

Summary/Abstract: We welcome and embrace every new scientific and technological development that somehow makes our lives a little easier. Often, we do not reflect at all, are not aware of, or relegate to a distant perspective, the negative consequences of "technical innovations". We all recognize the positives of general-purpose artificial intelligence, but do we also recognise its negative aspects? This article only hints at some selected negative aspects of its use. The purpose of this study is to draw the reader's attention to the dangers potentially posed by the use of artificial intelligence.
