The development of the Czechoslovak scientific and technological society until 1968

Summary/Abstract: The study is devoted to the organizational development of the Czechoslovak scientific and technological society since its establishment in the early 1950s within the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences, since 1959 within the framework of the Revolutionary Trade Movement, and its incorporation as a voluntary organization to the National Front in 1968. Attention is devoted mainly to the administrative history of the organization, its internal structure and the staffing of its top organs.
