Summary/Abstract: Jan Olaszek analyzes Michał Głowiński’s autobiographical prose in terms of reflecting his connections with the world of the democratic opposition in the People’s Republic of Poland in the years 1976-1989. The article presents the author’s attitude towards this movement as a whole, some of the characters participating in it and his own involvement. The text asks questions about the way of presenting the political attitude of the professional environment surrounding Głowiński and people striving to pacify it.
