Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the use of the method of analysis and creative use of texts in the example of Zbigniew Herbert’s Pan od przyrody. The subject and poetics of the poem encourage students to create their own texts on the so-called significant people, including teachers. The article was inspired by experimental classes conducted during remote education in the field of international Polish studies, where the students are both Poles and foreigners. The use of a literary text as a model influences the development of creativity and text-forming competencies of both native and foreign speakers of Polish.
