Summary/Abstract: Aware of the richness in the writings of the Orthodox Church, which he studied throughout his ecclesiastical activity, Andrei Şaguna found resources in the Holy Scriptures, in the Canons of the Church and in the Writings of the Holy Fathers, which, through his works, he made, as far as possible, available to his faithful. This approach, presented in the foreword of the book Elements of Canon Law, was considered part of his misionary ministry as bishop. Venerating him as a Saint of the Church is an invitation for today’s christians to discover the spiritual character of the Great Andrei’s activity.
