Summary/Abstract: Among those who suffered in communist prisons were Alexandru Mironescu, arrested in June 1958 in the “Rugul Aprins” batch and N. Steinhardt, arrested in January 1960 in the “mystic-legionary Noica-Pillat” batch. The memorial works written by Alexandru Mironescu and N. Steinhardt, Floarea de foc, respectively Jurnalul fericirii, complete, together with other diaries of some survivors of communist prisons, the information about the detention time during the communist regime. The two memorialists are comparable in terms of intellectual and moral value and their diaries seem to be made “in the mirror”, through the spiritual, cultural, scientific, socio-political and axiological similarities.
