Summary/Abstract: Hesychasm’s dialogue with the secular space has taken place both through writings, teachings, monastic models, as well as through the coexistence of the Holy Fathers in the socio-cultural environment of their times, effectively offering wisdom and the real example of how they related to God. The emphasis on spirituality and hesychasm in the theological discourse of the present, accompanied by the drawing of appropriate contextual parallels and an accessible language, represents a way in which the contemporary man can rediscover the relevance of the hesychast message, as well as acquire the specific answers and solutions to the dilemmas in the secular space in which he lives.
