Summary/Abstract: The study deals, in the context of the history of cycling in Bohemia, with the participation of young Jindřich G. Maštálka (1866-1926) in activities of Prague Velocipedist Club (est. 1883) in the years 1884-1885. It follows his interest in cycling in 1884-1886 and sets this life phase into biography of the later entrepreneur and deputy.
