Summary/Abstract: Inspired by the words of the angel, sent by God, from Heaven, to herald great joy for all humanity and to bring peace on earth, the Romanian carol transmits, from generation to generation, the boundless love of the Father. With great and holy joy, overwhelmed by the boundless love of God the Father for us and the unspeakable humility of His Son, Child and God, Christians clothe their entire being in the most beautiful garments of virtues: through the 40-day Fast, before Christmas, through increased prayer and humble repentance, followed by Confession and Communion with the Body and Blood of the Lord. In this atmosphere, the Nativity of the Lord is welcomed in our Christian families and communities, from grandparents. The Feast of the Nativity is about comfort and deliverance, about joy and unwavering hope in our salvation. At Christmas, we all relive our childhood through good, ancient, holy Christmas carols.
