Summary/Abstract: The greatest relevance of Alfred North Whitehead’s work, in my opinion, has to be related to the interpretation and understanding of the theory of relativity. Whitehead’s same philosophy as ‘meta-physics,’ or ‘pan-physics’ has to be considered a transition from a logico-mathematical philosophy to a physical philosophy, to a cosmological philosophy rooted in his interpretation of relativity. He understood motion as a structural series of temporal events, avoiding permanent material bodies and refuting any interpretation of four-dimensional space-time as a kind of eternal permanence.
