Pricing Methodology for Electricity Tansmission Service

Summary/Abstract: The author shortly presents the development of pricing in foreign countries and gives the basic pricing directions of any kind of a regulated monopoly. This paper deals with the general pricing principles and the price setting process in a regulated electricity transmission monopoly. Some particular instruments of regulation are also presented. The research has been performed having analysed the pricing theory, experience of foreign countries and the situation in the Lithuanian electricity field.
