Summary/Abstract: The article aims to indicate the topicality of contemporary Polish folk high schools’ offer and to point out the factors dynamising their development. The directions of changes in the content and forms of work will be analyzed, as well as the characteristics of how these non-formal offers for adult learners are organized. The social aspects of the activities of folk high schools will be emphasised. The point of reference for the proposed analyses will be the contemporary perspective.The aim of the article is to indicate the topicality of the Polish contemporary folk High Schools offer and to indicate the factors that driving their development. Directions of changes of the content and working forms as well as the characteristics of the organization of these non-formal offers for adult learners will be analysed. The social aspects of the activities of folk High Schools will be emphasized. The recentivist perspective will be the point of reference for the proposed analyzes.
