Summary/Abstract: In recent years, entrepreneurship has gained importance as a way of encouraging employment opportunities, strengthening economic competitiveness, and promoting local and regional development. Interestingly, entrepreneurship has been adopted as a strategic approach to facilitate economic participation among young people. Involvement in entrepreneurship makes it possible to increase self-confidence, achieve economic independence, and move away from the edge of poverty. It also creates employment opportunities that lead to economic growth and development. Despite the advantages offered by entrepreneurship, it seems that in the Pelagonian region, where the research is implemented, entrepreneurship is still not seen as a career option. The purpose of the research is to map the target group for the structuring of the activities in the direction of improving employment opportunities and encouraging young people to actively engage in job creation. Creating entrepreneurs is a serious challenge and requires a great deal of commitment on the part of policymakers and educators. An environment that supports entrepreneurship, innovation, and entrepreneurial behavior is also needed. For this purpose, there is a need to formulate a systemic-strategic approach for creating and encouraging an entrepreneurial culture and entrepreneurial behavior among young people.
