Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of an analysis of the accuracy of the transformation of the coordinates of the boundary points of neighbouring mining areas in Silesia. The transformations were carried out independently for each mining area caused the equivalent boundary points of neighbouring mining areas in the local coordinate system to have different coordinates in the national PL-2000 system. In addition, analyses were carried out taking into account measurement accuracy confirming the sen- sitivity of the first order conformal transformation to measurement errors. The differences that occur indicate the need to look for a method that will reduce or eliminate them.
