Summary/Abstract: Common prayer for the unity of Christians is in line with the desire of the Savior that all who believe in Him should be one. This prayer does not go against the saving truth or the canonical ordinances of the Orthodox Church if it is cultivated with discernment, “keeping the truth in love”, according to the motto: “let us preserve the unity of faith and the Orthodox canonical discipline, but also peace between religions.”
