Summary/Abstract: Market sentiment analysis is the process of understanding the emotions and opinions of market participants, often reflected in the vast quantities of data generated by online platforms, news outlets, and social media. In this paper we fixed the purpose of exploring how and in what sense the machine learning methods can be used to detect the sentiment of the stock market participants. To obtain the results we used well-known scientific databases from which we extracted the most relevant paper, doing so we've shown where the trend is heading and how this could change the way we invest.
