Summary/Abstract: The pewter plates in question served for wedding presents. The authoress characterizes the whole pewter collection owned by the State Jewish Museum and then focuses her attention on wedding plates dating from the end of the 18th century as well as later periods. In the end the authoress describes single plates and dishes from the collection of this museum, which were made in Prague and Brno workshops.
