Summary/Abstract: The iconostasis of the church in Guča comprised icons from different time periods. It integrated elements of the original iconostasis from the late 18th century, alongside icons donated by parishioners in the mid-19th and early 20th centuries. This amalgamation meant that the works of several icon painters became part of the iconostasis. Its progressive development was characterized by the predominance of the donors’ preferences, resulting in the distinctiveness of the iconostasis, deviating from its conventional structure.
