Summary/Abstract: The analysis of George Breazul’s Carols was made by studying two fundamental works of the author: Colinde and Muzica românească de azi, published between 1938-1939. The carols cover all musical scales from ditonic scales to heptatonic scales. In the current study I present carols that are subtly contained in heptatonic scales, ditonic scales and those are mixed scales.
