Summary/Abstract: Feliks Kryskiisconsideredtobeoneofthefewmonarchistsamongthesenators who supported Sigismund III. Kryski was famed for his oratorical skills by contemporaries, which he used to gather support for the King and his plans. His activities encompassed the period of conflicts in which the authority and actions of the king were questioned.The purpose of this paper is to examine his public speeches and texts attributed to him in order to analyse his view for the King and his power. For that purpose, it is useful to compare Kryski’s attitude with the ideas of European writers advocating for strong monarchical power in the name of the state.
