Summary/Abstract: This article presents a study of Angel Karaliychev’s travel books during the second period of his development. For the first time in Bulgarian literary theory the focus lies on the interconnection and dialogism between the texts that the writer published in different collections and not so much on their contents. This article examines the special features of text composition so as to provide an explanation for the lack of unity and coherence between individual works. Special attention is paid to the only travel book in the writer’s oeuvre – “The Land of the Bulgarians” – which was published in five different editions.
