Summary/Abstract: The paper briefly sketches the thought of Marguerite Porete and her writing The Mirror of Simple Souls. It is pointed out the possibility of indirect influence that Porete could have (through Meister Eckhart) to Arthur Schopenhauer, whose ideas were very influential in later times.
