MILITARIZATION OF ORGANIZATIONAL UNITS IN LIGHT OF THE CHANGES ARISING FROM THE ENTRY INTO FORCE OF THE POLISH HOMELAND DEFENCE ACT - AN OUTLINE OF THE PROBLEM

Summary/Abstract: The entry into force of the Act of March 11, 2022 on the Defense of the Homeland was the reason for significant changes in the defense system of the Republic of Poland. The Act was supposed to meet the challenges of the modern world. The act was intended to replace archaic regulations, consoli- date, simplify and increase the readability and usefulness of the provisions in force in the area of national security. However, with any changes, complications should be expected when transitioning from the old system to the new one. Today, it can be said that the entry into force of the Act has significantly changed the situation of units scheduled for militarization, and unfortunately it has also resulted in some systemic defects. The research problem is: What problems and systemic defects in the field of militarization of individuals arose as a result of the entry into force of the Act. At the same time, the authors' professional experience and preliminary research allow us to hypothesize that after the entry into force of the Act, there are areas containing errors or systemic deficiencies or causing their occurrence. The purpose of the article is to present the identified systemic flaws created by the entry into force of the Act of March 11, 2022. The research used the following theoretical research methods: the method of analysis and logical construction, and the method of synthesis and abstraction. The conducted research confirmed that the new laws cause positive effects and the emergence of certain defects, inconsistencies and avicabilities in the national security system. In particular in the area of militarization of organizational units. The research described in the article will be continued.
