Summary/Abstract: In this paper I will discuss key concepts of contemporary social anthropology. I will try to point out methodological and theoretical aspects of this science. One of the key questions will be role of social anthropology in its contemporary relations towards general anthropology and general sociology. We will point out the fact that key concepts of contemporary social anthropology can be understood only considering her interdisciplinary background. We will try to elaborate what scientfic researches can be called “anthropological research”. In that context we will try to give review of historical genesis of this science, and from which manifests all differences in aproach of its key questions (from evolutionism and functionalism to interpretative and simbolical anthropology).
