Summary/Abstract: Ács Margit, the first lector and later editor of the works by the Nobel Price winner Imre Kertész, shares her memories of “how things began” – she recalls the details and the difficulties that Kertész’s first and later most respected book, the Sorstalanság (Faithlessness) faced when it was first published. (This is the topic of the writer’s second book, Kudarc (Failure).) This interview is probably not evadable in the Kertész reception.
