Summary/Abstract: This article aims to present an analysis of temporal relationships and functioning of temporal adverbs in a literary text. The purpose of this article is to show how the verbs tenses and the temporal adverbs contribute to the establishment of the temporal relations’ organization in a literary text. The deictic tenses take as reference a Primary Given Time (GPT primary time asked) that corresponds in general to the time of enunciation.
