Summary/Abstract: The study presents more than 30 years of linguistic research and project outputs of the Research Institute of Slovaks in Hungary. The main fields of research were sociolinguistics, onomastics, linguistic landscape studies, and the history of Slovak literary language. The article also outlines the perspectives of further linguistic research at the Research Institute of Slovaks in Hungary.
