THE ROLE OF TÜRKİYE-AZERBAIJAN ECONOMIC COOPERATION IN THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE AGRICULTURE SECTOR IN AZERBAIJAN

Summary/Abstract: This research examines the importance and potential of cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan in the field of agriculture. The development of trade between the two countries and changes in agricultural product exports were examined. The findings show that Turkey's share in Azerbaijan's agricultural product exports has increased, highlighting the importance of mutual trade. Research has also addressed challenges such as market access issues, technical barriers, and trade barriers. However, Turkey and Azerbaijan's efforts to work together to overcome these obstacles and cooperation projects were emphasized. As a result, increasing agricultural cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan can make significant contributions to regional development and economic growth.
