Summary/Abstract: Archival fond Fanfogna-Garagnin, kept in the State Archives in Split, contain volumes about the restoration of the streets of Trogir in 1795-96. This renovation was necessary due to epidemic that ravaged the city during the last years. These volumes contain information about amounts and persons who financially supported renovation. Moreover, one can easily find names of the owners and tenants of the houses, together with the size of the landed properties in the Venetian square feet. This document, therefore, present valuable demographic data about certain families of Trogir, size of their property and sometimes their genealogical connections. Thus, this source provides data for the social topography investigation. Moreover, it offers valuable facts about Trogir’s toponimy, as well as data about Trogir artisans and organization of the restoration. Though this document reveals incomplete picture of the city, it provides useful data about objects that did not survive this or later reconstructions of the city. At the end author delivers a complete transcription of the source, and an index of the mentioned persons.
