THE PHENOMENON OF REVELATION

Summary/Abstract: The Revelation (Wahy) means fast, mysterious sign or the mysterious conversation between two men. It also marks connection between God and man by which God announces His message. In Qur'an as the gerund and in different verbal shapes it is connected with: the Revelation to Messengers, skies, earth, Angels, inspiration of man, animals, interpersonal communication and devil whispering. It has continuity through the human history what is seen in the surah En-Nisa, 163-4 ayat. Allah has chosen Messengers for this honourable mission. They have been transmitters and have not operated on Revelation. When Revelation arrives on the earth it becomes the part of real world as well as every other supernatural phenomenon. It can be heard by ear, uttered by mouth, understood by mind, experienced by sense of feeling. By His Revelation Allah points to True Path and warns on consequences of one's deeds. Therefore man is obligatory to return the gratitude for the Gift which was given by Him. Revelation is the proof of legation and strong argument against the faithless on Doomsday.
