The assessment of organization finance management exemplified by health care institution

Summary/Abstract: Problems with financing health care have recently been observed all over the world. Polish institutions of health care have faced a difficult challenge regarding the assurance of high quality services and, at the same time, controlling their costs. Modern economic reality requires from the managers not only high expertise, but, first of all, knowledge in the field of economy and management sciences. The aim of the article is economic assessment of finance management by selected health care institution, as well as the analysis of its undertaken activities. The author explains difficulties in the management of this type of institutions and suggests specific variants of solution.
