Summary/Abstract: The article examines the message about the Germans after the Second World War, sent by children’s magazine “Płomyk”. The author analyzes how the narrative on the victims and heroes of the war changed over time and how the threat of armed conflict was portrayed there. Furthermore, the author establishes what tools were used to build the image of the enemy (real or imaginary) of the past and present. The analysis looks into the contexts of the publication of that content. The talk focuses on magazine addressed to young audiences and published in 1945–1949.
