Summary/Abstract: In the time of dynamic socio-cultural, economic and technological changes,human functioning in the work environment becomes an important individualand social problem.The dynamics of the work environment force the individual to quickly adaptto the changing situation, which often causes serious adaptation difficulties. Thecomplexity and ambiguity of the modern world of work result in dysfunctionalor pathological phenomena in the work environment, which significantly affectprofessional career and personal development. The study presents, against thebackground of statistics, the most common pathological phenomena in the workenvironment that negatively affect the work process and the employee himself,undermining his dignity and sense of security.
