Summary/Abstract: The publication introduces and justifies the category of performer‑child – a child who creates themself and the relations between them and the social environment by continually replicating actions within a given culture. This category extends also understanding of the child as a spectator and participant in performative art. By analyzing sources in the field of performance studies and pedagogy as well as doing field research, the author confirms the assertion that the performer‑child is the model link in the autopoietic feedback loop.
