Summary/Abstract: Emperor Constantine was the last great ruler of the unified Roman Empire. He ascended the throne after the death of his father, Emperor Constantius, and gained power after several civil wars. In his reign the practice of Christianity was authorized. In this work we examine the places and dates of dating of the constitutions contained in the Code of Justinian to verify that the Court of Constantine effectively exercised power throughout the Empire, covering long distances even in winter times. In some cases, the dating offers inconsistent results which suggests a possible alteration of the texts.
