Summary/Abstract: The patient’s consent or lack of consent to perform medical activities is of fundamental importance in the area of health care. This also applies to the e-health model. Making the admissibility of medical intervention dependent on obtaining the appropriate consent is a guarantee of respecting the patient’s autonomy, and in a broader sense: of respecting human dignity and freedom, as referred to in the Polish Constitution. The subject of the article is an analysis of the legal provisions in force in Poland in the field of patient informed consent and an analysis of the reports of the Patient Right Office.
