Summary/Abstract: The word „globalisation” is so often treated like a synonym of the world„digitalisation”, without considering the human side of it all. Globalisation isn’t just about the technology of information or about solving as fast as possible the legal problems that occur, it’s also about a series of new challenges, especially when considering the notarial field. The present paper has the purpose of presenting how different situations are solved when a foreign law is applied, so that the notary can offer his client a quality product of law, but at the same time a product that is in accordance with the legislation of more than one member state of the European Union. In the second part, we will analyse the power that a notarial act has when used in another member state of the European Union, also considering the Europea Courts’ of Justice (ECJ) jurisprudence.
