Summary/Abstract: From the very beginning, the contextualization of the culture of clothing into ethnographic museology was primarily directed towards the solemn pattern that emanates, the «spirit of the times» and the folk genius of members of traditional communities. However, in the abundance of questions and museological challenges that have arisen in the past decades, the role and significance of everyday activities, which ultimately define habitus and value systems, are increasingly being contemplated. Viewed in this light, three possible issues emerge in the context of re-examining the role and significance of men's clothing patterns applied within the framework of the culture of economics. In the first place, it would be whether there is a distinctive and value determination based on when workwear has remained on the margins of research, musealization and representation, and then whether there is a cultural period in which changes in the form and content of men's clothing cease to be in the field of the folk and the traditional. Finally, it should be noted whether there are theoretical and practical limitations that prevent today's museum experts from looking to the coming period in which our immediate past will literally become ethnographically significant enough for musealization and subsequent interpretations of changes in clothing patterns.
