Summary/Abstract: Zsigmond Jakó was one of the most prominent figures in Transylvanian Hungarian historiography during the second half of the 20th century. His comprehensive source collections and publications, based on archival research, as well as his works on the history and cultural history of Transylvania, hold significant importance in filling historical gaps. This tripartite study analyzes his archival work, university teaching activities, and his research and writing endeavors.
