Summary/Abstract: It is necessary to present the “biography” of Requiem - a memorial of Marțian Negrea that synthesizes the Orthodox and Romanian conception of life and death, in a Western, Catholic and Protestant pattern. It is a great merit of Banat, respectively of Timișoara, to have taken out of the darkness of the communist dungeons are presentative creation of the Romanian spirituality, giving life in 1990 to this masterpiece of the Romanian spirituality.
