Summary/Abstract: Anna Keszeg’s book is an important milestone of Hungarian fashion research, which opens a possibility for the discipline of fashion studies, still lacking serious critical recognition in Hungarian-language scientific circles, to occupy its place in the academic world as well. In addition to its many strengths, one of the most significant fortes of the book is its interdisciplinary character, which reflects the author’s expertise in media and film studies, as well as her proficiency in fashion research. And in the meanwhile, she effectively creates a dialogue between these approaches.
