Summary/Abstract: The report presents the results of a study of the forecast development of the electricity system (EES) of the Republic of Bulgaria and proposes measures to ensure its safe functioning. Scenarios with extreme maximum and minimum load of generating capacities are considered. The political commitments to the European Union concerning the „Green Deal“, the National Plan for Recovery and Sustainability, the transition to a low-carbon economy and the transformation of the energy sector have been taken into account.
