On "The Making of the Slavs" from inside

Summary/Abstract: The paper makes an attempt to find an answer to the question, how the Old Slavs identify themselves. It presents the idea that the identity of the Old Slavs was connected with the "zupa" as territorial, social, economic, juridical, religious unit. The religious language was Slavic. Affiliation to zupa was fundamental for survival feeling of people. It is not likely that whenever existed only one single Slavic identity, but it could be presumed, that there were many local zupa's identities with the Slavic religious language.
