Summary/Abstract: The last century of our history is longer and more complicated than any previous. Frequent wars, excessive consumption, moral norms violated, radical sexuality, the rule of image. Art, generally speaking, reflects the reality in personal forms which describe and confirm stylistic profiles. Romanian plastic art metabolizes these twists and turns in a particular way, on the background of deep and stable cultural-psychological substrates.
