Summary/Abstract: After December ’89, many opportunists, obviously disturbed by Paul Goma memory, launched attacks in the literary press against him. Most of the time, the image of the opponent Paul Goma overshadowed the image of the writer Paul Goma. This work aims to identify and illustrate the main reasons for which the dissident will refuse the idea of returning to Romania even after the fall of communism. We will focus on the main controversies which appear around his literary work in Romanian literary press.
