Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with the compositions of poet Annette von Droste-Hülshoff, with a focused exploration of her works that tackle the critical subjects of gender roles and the restrictions imposed on women's lives during the 19th century. By drawing comparisons between Annette von Droste-Hülshoff’s works and those of modern Muslim female writers and poets who also address these significant themes, we attain a greater comprehension of the shared experiences of women across various cultures and periods. This analysis allows us to recognize the power of literature in illuminating the struggles endured by women throughout history to obtain quality.
