Summary/Abstract: The study in case presents the results of a qualitative research, concerning female students perceptions about 770/ 1966 Decree’s consequences and the specific social context of age, as they are imagined in Romanian cinematography. Focus- groups were built around three materials: a documentary film- „Children of the Decree” (2005) directed by Florin Iepan and two artistic films- „Postcards with field flowers” (1974) directed by Andrei Blaier and „4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days” (2007) directed by Cristian Mungiu. The research used the focus- group method, having young female students from Political Science Faculty as a target group. Research conclusions opened future study directions, but also gained information about young female’s perspective about pronatalist politics in communist Romania
