Summary/Abstract: This article explores the vital relationship between public relations (PR), public institutions, and mass-media in modern society. PR plays a crucial role in facilitating communication between authorities and citizens, promoting transparency, and fostering mutual understanding. In compliance with the law, public institutions establish communication offices to enhance dialogue with mass-media and citizens. While not legally recognized, mass media serves as a powerful force in shaping democracy. In today's democratic societies, mass-media serves as a fundamental pillar for informing citizens, especially considering the challenges of direct communication. This connection underscores the importance of effective communication between PR professionals and journalists, ensuring the dissemination of accurate and relevant information to the public.
