Summary/Abstract: Through its content, our research focuses on highlighting some lesser-known aspects of the creative personalities Ion Mușlea and Ion Taloș, whose features are capitalized by consulting the correspondence maintained between 1959-1964. The collaboration between the two ethnologists enhanced the quality of ethnographic research through their dedication and erudition. The establishment of the Folklore Archive of the Romanian Academy in Cluj by Ion Mușlea, in 1930, was a great step in terms of the evolution of folklore.
